In my claaa we use something called The Behavior Ladder. Everyday your child will start on green, which means they are ready to learn. With each choice they make they will either go up the ladder or down the ladder. If they make a bad choice the get a warning, if they do it again they go to yellow and have a cool down away from the class where they can try to get themselves and their choices under control. The next bad choice they will miss 5 minutes of recess and if it continues then they will receive a reflection. At the same time if they make good choices then they can climb back up the ladder. So please make sure to check everyday to see what color your child was today and ask them about it.
